Louis Paradis is a Canadian street rider who is known for winning the 2012 X Games Real Show gold medal; he was the runner up in the year either side of his victory as well. In 2013 he won the X-Games street event by a wide margin to add to his trophy cabinet. Louis rarely competes in formal competitions but can be found destroying rails in his home city of Quebec. He has racked up some impressive video parts in films such as Bon Voyage, Shoot the Moon and Videograss as well as his own feature with Bonfire and Salomon. Louis-Felix Paradis, sometimes shortened to Louif, resides in Quebec City in Canada and has been competing in snowboarding competitions since 2008. When he was young, he started sledding on a nearby hill, but he would always attempt to stand up in it so his parents gave him snow skates. When he was 11, he went to East Quebec and it was there that he got his very first snowboarding lesson and fell in love with the sport. Paradis’ skateboards when he can't find any snow and the influence of this hobby is clear in his riding. With talent and energy Louis will continue leading the Canadian rail revolution for years to come.
