Red Bull Metro Pipe 2012 Madrid

A metro track transformed into a half pipe, the world’s best BMX riders and a noisy and devoted audience were the main ingredients of the pro competition of the Red Bull Metro Pipe, an event held in Madrid’s Chamartín station. The ten participant pairs delivered an incredible show in a challenging BMX track for more than 15,000 spectators that attended the contest throughout the weekend. At the end Spain’s Daniel Peñafiel and Czech Michael Beran were crowned as the winners of the first Red Bull Metro Pipe event.
