Last week the "Ride with me Day" for juniors, coached by no other than our very own Marcus Kleveland, took place in the flawless snowparks of Kitzsteinhorn.. We offered up to 15 kids, (aged 15 and under) the chance to spend the day and ride with Marcus Kleveland, the 2013 BEO Junior Jam Champ.. Marcus came directly to Kitzsteinhorn from the BEO champs in Laax and didn't arrive before 2am, thanks to holiday traffic chaos, but was as motivated as ever to go ride with the kids the following morning.. Unfortunately, due to frigid arctic temps up on the glacier (Minus 18 to minus 22 all day) some of the kids that had signed up for the session didn't make it. But a hardcore pack of 5 motivated junior shredders defied the cold and were treated with personal attention and instruction from Marcus in between hot chocolate warm up sessions.. And thanks to the recent dump we alternated between doing laps in the park, slashing pow and hitting single obstacles chosen by the kids… Check out the video to see what you missed out on..
