DirtTV: World Championships PMB Tech Vid

There is a lot of talk about what bike is going to be best on this long, relatively flat and not that technical (in the traditional sense) track in PMB. Some of the big names are sticking to their well understood DH race setups, big travel on big bikes. Hill, Neethling, Gwin are all aboard their DH rigs for World Champs. The biggest news is Jared Graves running his Yeti SB66 Enduro bike, a few Saint parts have replaced XTR componantry and some tougher DH cased tyres are all that the Aussie rider has swapped out. Some interesting points from the experienced rider about speed maintenance and what the bike does to help him out. Jacy from Specialized talks about Mitch Ropelato's 29er Enduro bike, it's nothing new to the young American either. Mitch rode a 29 inch Stumpjumper at Fontana, Sea Otter and at the recent DH events at Crankworx Whistler. "you've got to use the weapon that you think will be best" said Jacy and with the only main change being a stem stacker after going to a DH drivetrain but then swapping back to the wider range from an Enduro setup Mitch is definitely not running a DH bike at DH World Championships. Good? Bad? Does it really matter? P.S check out the best over the bars save from Damien Spagnolo at 8.40!
