Following the trackwalk, the riders voiced their approval of the track in Leogang, Austria - the venue for the final race of the UCI 2013 Downhill World Cup.
Steve Smith, second going into the race, was impressed by the new lines. He’s hoping to be able to catch Gee Anderson and the World Cup.
The British pair of Adam Brayton and Ruarduh Cunningham felt that the mix of fast and slower sections would prove awkward, but the pair looked forward to tackling the kickers.
Loic Bruni appreciated the increased difficulty of the technical sections after finding last years course on the easy side.
