East Rookie Fest 2011

The Black Yeti will come back to Europe for the Ride East Rookie Fest, from 16th to 19th of March in Spindleruv Mlyn, Svaty Petr, the best resort in Czech Republic. This event was established in 2008 with a unique set up consisting of halfpipe, rails and jump in the same run realising a Super Slopestyle. It stands out for its long list of prizes, creating high expectations for the riding level and for the international rider field: some of the best European rookies are awaited!

“This event is part of the World Rookie Tour since many years and it is now a classic in our youth snowboard series“ stated Meinhard Trojer, WSF Board of Directors “every year we are happy to come back to Czech Republic, enjoy a suite hospitality and watch a great event“.

This event will be the last European qualification for the end of season Protest World Rookie Finals, to be held in Ischgl, Austria, from 11th to 15th of April, where the World Rookie Champions will be crowned and incredible prizes awarded.

Moreover World Rookie Tour is proud to announce a great news: after the event in Canada, a second international rookie fest stop is now confirmed in North America. The “West Coast Rookie Fest – Kidwell Classic“ will take place in Kirkwood Resort, California, from 23rd to 25th of March, organized by the “Father of Freestyle” Terry Kidwell personally.
