Quiksilver: Moments

Moments stars 10x world champion Kelly Slater, Dane Reynolds, Jeremy Flores, Craig Anderson, Clay Marzo and the rest of the global Quiksilver surf team and was filmed in Indonesia, Hawaii, Tahiti, Mexico, Australia, France and Puerto Rico.

Moments was shot in full HD using Phantom Gold, Cineflex, Red One and 16mm film cameras and features unique perspectives such as a Phantom helicopter angle at Grajagan in Indonesia, that has never been seen before in a surf film.

Moments uses an artistic approach to explore the individuality and uniqueness of each surfer’s style - from Dane Reynolds eccentric creativity to the island meets city vibe of Jeremy Flores to the reckless abandon of Clay Marzo to the bold confidence of Kelly Slater. Quiksilver team riders we’re heavily involved in all aspects of the film from start to finish. Dane’s part was entirely a creation of his Marine Layer Productions crew.

Moments was directed by Jamie Tierney, edited by Tate MacDowell and shot by Chris Bryan, Curt Morgan, Dustin Miller, Adam Klevin, Matthew Bokor, Vincent Kardasik and others throughout 2010. The sound track features music from Panda Bear, Gypsy Blood, Casiokids, Blacklist, Light Pollution and Tristeza.
