Brazilian big wave surfing legend Carlos Burle has won the Big Wave World Tour (BWWT) After standout performances, huge waves and a couple of massive wipeouts Carlos bagged the title. At the awards Carlos said, &#xu2;01CWhat I did tonight doesn&#xu2;019t belong to me. It belongs to all of you. It belongs to our sport,&#xu2;01D Burle said to an invite-only crowd of the world&#xu2;019s top chargers gathered at the Surfing Heritage Foundation. &#xu2;01CAll of you guys come up here and hold this trophy with me.&#xu2;01D

The stage had some of the biggest names in surfing, legendary watermen like Peter Mel, Mark Healey, Greg and Rusty Long, Ramon Navarro, Twiggy Baker and other warriors. He has just sent us this video clip of him accepting the award (one of the most humble speeches you&#xu2;019ll ever hear)
